UNDER Project successfully concludes Final International Mobility in Czech Republic The UNDER – Underground Navigators Exploring and Revealing project has successfully concluded its third and final international mobility, held from 9^th to 12^th March 2026 in Višňové and the Znojemské Region of the Czech Republic. Hosted by Znojemské Podhorácko, the final event brought together participants and partner organisations from Malta, Italy, Hungary, and the Czech Republic to explore themes related to sustainable tourism, rural development, environmental protection, and cultural heritage preservation. Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, UNDER has focused throughout its duration on strengthening vocational education, promoting underground and rural heritage, and fostering intercultural cooperation among small European organisations operating in the tourism and cultural sectors. During the mobility, participants took part in seminars, workshops, field visits, and peer-learning activities focused on sustainable and rural tourism practices. The programme included visits to local heritage sites, discussions with local stakeholders, and activities exploring how rural communities can promote tourism while protecting cultural identity and natural resources. The mobility also represented an important moment of reflection on the overall achievements of the UNDER project. Participants shared experiences and best practices developed during the previous mobilities in Italy and Hungary, highlighting the positive impact of European cooperation on professional development, community engagement, and intercultural understanding. Over the course of the project, participants strengthened their skills in underground heritage management, tourism promotion, communication, teamwork, and sustainable development. The partnership also succeeded in creating new networks and opportunities for future cooperation among organisations working in the fields of cultural heritage, tourism, and vocational education. The conclusion of the Czech mobility marks the successful completion of the UNDER project’s international activities while opening the way for future collaborative initiatives and continued dissemination of the project’s results and methodologies across Europe.
