As of March 2024, the ACe20 Agency has been granted by the Orte Municipal Administration the management of important services related to cultural tourism and the promotion of local heritage. These also include reception at the Tourist Office and organization of tourist visits to the complex known as “Orte Sotterranea.” This complex, which includes the ancient underground aqueduct from the Etruscan-Roman period, cellars and cisterns from the medieval and modern periods, rock dovecotes from the 12th-13th centuries, the 19th-century snow pit, and the Renaissance rock nymphaeum, represents an important historical and cultural testimony to the Orte area.
