Erasmus for Everyone: The European Bridge Connecting Adults, Youth, and Work Through ACe20’s Award-Winning Projects
In recent years, the Erasmus+ program has gone beyond the collective imagination, which once saw it as exclusively linked to university exchanges. Today, thanks to the support of the European Union, Erasmus+ also targets adults, youth in training, workers, and cultural and social operators, becoming a key tool for promoting inclusion, personal growth, employability, and social innovation.
A concrete example of this evolution comes from the province of Viterbo, where the company ACe20, based in Orte, has established itself as a reference point in European and cultural project design. Recently, ACe20 received significant recognition for the quality of its work by winning and coordinating five Erasmus+ projects with a strong international impact. The initiatives, carried out in collaboration with partners from Cyprus, Malta, and Italy, have promoted innovative and inclusive training paths for young people, adults, and professionals.

BRIDGE – NikArt (Cyprus)
The BRIDGE project (Building Relationships In Diverse Global Environments), conceived by the Cypriot artistic organization NikArt and coordinated by ACe20, was designed to strengthen intercultural and communication skills among adults and trainers. Through artistic workshops, theater activities, public performances, and international exchanges, BRIDGE created spaces for dialogue and discussion, contributing to the development of an active and aware European citizenship.
Activities took place between Italy and Cyprus, aiming to break down cultural barriers and foster the empowerment of adults, particularly those with fewer opportunities.
Flags of Unity – Qala Folk Group (Malta)
With Flags of Unity, cultural heritage becomes a universal language of unity. The Maltese group Qala Folk, ACe20’s partner, placed traditional dance, music, and local costumes at the center of the project, creating a true “festival of diversity.”
The project involved young people and adults in a series of intercultural events across Malta, Italy, and other European countries, where popular traditions served as a starting point to address themes such as inclusion, European identity, and cultural cooperation. Flags of Unity demonstrated how folklore can be a living, educational, and inclusive resource, especially for younger generations.
MOOVE – UISP Viterbo (Italy)
The MOOVE project, promoted by UISP Viterbo and coordinated by ACe20, used sport as a tool for social inclusion, prevention of hardship, and promotion of physical and mental well-being. Targeted at vulnerable youth, educators, and sports operators, MOOVE created a network of European exchanges focused on motor and recreational activities.
International meetings allowed participants to share best practices in inclusion through sport, developing skills also useful in the workplace, such as teamwork, leadership, and group management. A project that values the body as a space for education, relationships, and social transformation.
Europ Art – Vamos (Cyprus)
With Europe Art, art becomes an educational, professional, and inclusive tool. Coordinated by the Cypriot organization Vamos, in collaboration with ACe20, the project involved young artists, trainers, and cultural professionals in an international training path that included workshops, artistic residencies, and creative exchanges.
Participants explored topics related to cultural entrepreneurship, artistic design, and visual communication, acquiring essential skills for the contemporary creative work landscape. Europe Art also served as a space for reflecting on the role of art in building inclusive and participatory communities.
ECO PATH – Coop Arco Gallese (VT, Italy)
Last but not least, ECO PATH, implemented by Coop Arco in the municipality of Gallese (VT), addressed environmental sustainability and experiential tourism. The project, coordinated by ACe20, involved young people and adults in outdoor training activities, educational trekking, ecology workshops, and moments of international exchange.
Through nature-immersive paths, ECO PATH promoted environmental awareness and the development of skills related to sustainable tourism and “green” professions, showing how the environment can be an educational, professional, and cultural resource.

The success and impact of these five projects have brought significant recognition to ACe20, awarded for its ability to build international networks, design high-quality project proposals, and promote an inclusive, sustainable, and innovative European vision.
