ACe20 alongside institutions, territories and communities to build sustainable, cultural and participatory European projects
The 2025–2027 period marks a strategic window for accessing European Union funding, thanks to new support lines dedicated to educational, social, cultural and territorial development. The main European programmes – Erasmus+, CERV, LIFE, Creative Europe, and Interreg – are being renewed with calls addressing today’s key challenges: social inclusion, green and digital transition, civic participation, and local innovation.
In this context, ACe20 positions itself as a strategic partner for public institutions, schools, cultural associations, civic networks and non-profit organisations, offering consolidated expertise in European project design, transnational cooperation, and local heritage enhancement.
1. Erasmus+ 2025: education and mobility for schools, youth, adults, professionals, and athletes
Erasmus+ remains the EU’s flagship programme for education, intercultural exchange and inclusion. The 2025 budget includes numerous calls in strategic areas:
- Cooperation Partnerships (KA2): to develop innovative educational methods, promote cultural and environmental heritage, and build educational networks across Europe.
- Mobility (KA1): international exchanges, workshops, artistic experiences and active citizenship pathways for all age groups.
- Erasmus+ Sport: projects promoting well-being, inclusion and traditional sports, such as drumming, historical games and cultural reenactments.
Best practice: the MAGIC and MAGICS4All projects, developed by ACe20, have shown how local traditions – such as the Sbandieratori (flag-throwers) and musicians of Orte’s Sette Contrade – can become tools for European inclusion, intercultural dialogue and youth engagement.
Key Erasmus+ 2025 deadlines:
- 5 March: Cooperation Partnerships
- 12 February & 1 October: Mobility
- 5 March: Erasmus+ Sport
2. CERV: Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values
The CERV programme (2021–2027) funds projects focused on democracy, human rights, equality and European memory. It represents a key opportunity for municipalities, schools, NGOs and cultural foundations.
Key themes of the 2025 calls:
- European memory: initiatives that strengthen historical awareness and enhance Europe’s shared roots.
- Civic participation and democracy: projects that foster citizens’ active involvement in democratic processes.
- Gender equality and minority rights: actions that combat discrimination and promote social inclusion.
In these projects, ACe20 contributes expertise in local storytelling, civic education and participatory design, building solid networks with local impact and a European dimension.
CERV 2025 deadlines: vary from January to November.
3. Interreg 2025–2027: territorial cooperation and local development
Interreg promotes cooperation between European regions through projects aimed at sustainability, inclusion and territorial resilience. Key focus areas include:
- Enhancement of villages and historic centres
- Slow tourism and sustainable mobility
- Innovation in cultural heritage
- Circular economy and ecological transition
ACe20 has gained significant experience in urban and underground regeneration projects such as UNDER and Orte Sotterranea, collaborating with municipalities, local action groups (GALs), consortia and foundations to propose cultural and environmental initiatives with a cross-border scale.
Interreg deadlines: vary depending on the programme (Interreg Europe, Next Med, Central Europe), with openings expected between summer 2025 and the first half of 2026.
