The MYEEU Project was designed with the aim of highlighting and analyzing the concept of Youth Social Engagement, recognizing the crucial role that young people play in building a cohesive and inclusive society. Indeed, they represent the future of Europe, an issue on which the European Union is particularly focused. In this context, youth work and social entrepreneurship are becoming increasingly important in the European arena.
General Objective:
Promote European citizenship and improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at the Union level.
Specific Goals:
- Promote European measures to stimulate social work and youth work to address unemployment and foster social engagement of young people.
- Create a debate on solidarity in times of crisis, promoting understanding and cooperation among European communities.
- Foster the exchange of policy know-how, promoting cross-fertilization of the most effective ideas and practices.
- To disseminate knowledge of the EU policy formulation process, raising awareness among young people of the importance of their active involvement in European political life.
- To stimulate reflection on the risks of euroskeptic and nationalist propaganda among young people, promoting an inclusive and united vision of Europe.
- Promote volunteer actions that actively involve young people, providing them with concrete opportunities to contribute to the well-being of their communities and the Union as a whole.
